Four persons were killed and many injured when a passenger train and a goods train collided in suburban Vyasarpadi on Wednesday. The passenger train from Chennai and the goods train from Arakkonam collided at Jeevanagar railway station, resulting in a fire, police said.
Four bodies have been retrieved by the fire and rescue personnel, police said, adding, more casualties were feared. The mishap has resulted in disruption of rail services on this busy route, they said.

On April 19,2009 we had given a clear warning to Indian Agencies that a top Indian Industrialist of India based in Mumbai is having threat to his life (we had clearly known that he was one of the Ambani Bros.), on April 25,2009 the media shows the reports of sabotage attempt on the helicopter of Anil Ambani, Chairman Reliance Ind. This conspiracy was to harm him with his top officials.

Thirteen coaches of the Howrah-Chennai Coromandel express went off the rails last night in Jajpur district of Orissa state, the news agency said, citing Ajay Kumar Goel, a general manager at the East Coast Railways.

Guwahati, (IANS): A major disaster was averted on Wednesday when a powerful explosion missed the super fast Rajdhani Express from New Delhi by a couple of minutes, although the blast damaged a portion of a railway track in Assam, officials said.

The Rajdhani Express was bound for Tinsukia in eastern Assam from New Delhi and was carrying about 700 people.

"Definitely the target was the Rajdhani Express as the blast took place two minutes after the train passed the explosion site," the police official said.
